Software Overview CSiPlant is a standalone piping stress analysis program based on SAP2000, with a graphical interface and design functionality tailored to piping and structural engineering workflows. Its analysis capabilities include second-order nonlinear P-delta analysis with large displacements, path-dependent load sequencing, nonlinear time-history dynamic analysis, buckling analysis, and support behavior involving gaps, friction, one-way restraints, and multi-linear restraints. The software supports an unlimited number of load cases and can account for friction or soil effects in applicable load sequences. Dynamic analysis can consider gaps, multi-linear restraint behavior, one-way supports, friction, and P-delta effects, providing additional methods for evaluating complex piping and structural conditions. CSiPlant also provides bi-directional integration with SAP2000. Selected pipe support loads from a combined CSiPlant model can be exported back into SAP2000, supporting coordination between piping stress analysis and structural analysis and allowing piping code stresses and reactions to be evaluated together.
