Ink Audio Ink Steel is a KONTAKT instrument inspired by modern pedal steel guitar performances associated with artists such as Daniel Lanois, Russ Pahl, and BJ Cole. Its sound is suited to singer-songwriter, Americana, and ambient productions, including the atmospheric style described by Brian Eno as "zero-gravity country music."

Software Overview

The single-note sets use the white keys for the major scale. Black keys provide duplicate scale notes that do not respond to pitch bend, allowing players to combine bending and non-bending notes for single-note lines, double stops, and custom movements.
Chord sets and single-note sets can be transposed using the arrow controls in the user interface. The instrument also provides five additional processed sounds for expanding its tonal range.
