AquaChem 64-Bit Edition
- AquaChem is available as a 64-bit application, providing improved performance, better handling of larger projects, and easier configuration on most systems
Data Sources
- AquaChem now allows you to select a data source type:
. Microsoft Access: useful for smaller portable projects; can be stored on network drives
. LocalDB (NEW): useful for larger projects and improved performance; can only be stored on the local harddrive
. Convert: you can easily convert between database sources as your project needs change
PHREEQC
  • The PHREEQC Module supports saving PHREEC (Basic) simulation configurations
  • The modeled parameter picker in the Parameter Editor supports filtering and sorting
Description Collections
- The Description collection module supports labels for datapoints

Defects Addressed
  • If you set a major or minor tick interval on a Description to 0, then the program becomes non-responsive
  • Map Viewer data provider:
. does not always return the correct min/max values when aggregating samples
. treats sample sets like station groups and incorrectly returns results for ALL samples at associated stations rather than just samples in the Sample Set
  • Importing PHREEQC databases does not work with regional settings for Sweden and other countries using "," as the decimal separator
  • The cell formatting in Excel for Sample ID data can cause sample import to fail
  • Map Viewer does not save the visible status of image layers
  • Water type calculation sometimes forces the project to reload rather than refresh the affected tables
  • Box and Whisker Description, automatic X-axis label title is always set to Stations
  • Description Collection settings:
. Thickness doesn't work in General in Axes tab
. Removed "Style" setting for axes
  • Maps from older projects do not load layer settings.
  • In some cases, ACE.OLEDB errors encountered when importing data into station table
