Staying healthy is increasingly important in a society full of processed foodstuffs and mineral-deficient soils. That does not mean, however, that any food course is inherently better or worse than the other. The right dessert with healthy ingredients can be as healthy as any other traditional course. Eliminating wheat should be the first step - even if one is not gluten intolerant.

Why wheat-free?
As one would find it hard to eliminate all of the detrimental substances in our food, it might be a good idea to start with one of the greatest threats: Wheat... and grains in general. Wheat has little in nutritional value, and contains lectins, phytic acid, digestive inhibitors and various other antinutrients. Seeing as easy it is to replace it, there are are hardly any reasons to continue consuming it.
