This book is one of a series of late-1980's books on aerospace companies. Volumes on Boeing and McDonnell Douglas are the other two in the trio. In this book, products from the origin of Lockheed through the mid-1980's are covered (P-38, Constellation, U-2, SR-71, C-130, C-141, C-5, P-2, P-3, and many more). The Hubble Space telescope is included and it was as yet unlaunched when the book came out. Other interesting content includes Lockheed's series of submarine-launched ballistic missiles. There are excellent photos, numerous line drawings, and informative graphics on aircraft production numbers, all presented in a format consistent with the other volumes of the series.
