The Peregrine Labs development team is pleased to announce the availability of Yeti 5.1.0, is node based tool for creating instanced feathers, fur, or hair within Autodesk Maya. This major update focused on artist quality of life and workflow optimizations.

- added Maya 2025 build.
- updated to Arnold 7.3.2.1 and MtoA 5.4.2.1.
- updated to Redshift 3.6.03.
- added -nodes parameter to pgYetiCacheInfo which returns the list of currently registered node types.
- added -parameters <nodeTypeName> to pgYetiCacheInfo which returns the list of parameters for the specified node type. Use -detailed to return parameter types and defaults.
- added -parameterInfo <parameter> to pgYetiCacheInfo which queries the type and default of the specified parameter(s), the expected format is nodetype.parameter name, ie. texture.file_name. Multiple parameters may be specified as a single string value.
- pgYetiMayaFeather nodes now use updated VP2.0 hair shader to match pgYetiMaya.
- pgYetiMayaBraid nodes now use updated VP2.0 hair shader to match pgYetiMaya.
Yeti is Peregrine Labs major product focused on producing procedurally generated solutions such as fur, feathers and leaves within Autodesk Maya.
