Idézet:The accounting information plays a positive role in the integrity of the decisions as well as the success of the development plans; such a role is derived from the availability of information required for preparing, implementing, and following up these plans. The failure of such plans is usually attributed mainly to the absence of a serious evaluation of how accounting can contribute to the success of economic development plans. A lack of the required information is one of the obstacles affecting negatively the development plans; such an effect is represented by the choice of a model that is based on unreal facts; furthermore, such a model may cover certain aspects of the economy; such aspects are not important. These issues are however covered by information. The lack of information about the relative scarcity of the available resources leads to misdistribution. Additionally, the failure to track the development plan's progress makes it impossible to amend it. Due to the fact that accountancy is a social science aimed at serving the needs of private and public companies, it is influenced by changes in the economic, social, legal, and political conditions that are prevalent in each country or particular environment at a given time. This book is organized into seven chapters.
