Tartalom:

Batman (Christian Bale), Gordon felügyelő (Gary Oldman) és a megvesztegethetetlen ügyész, Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) hatásos hadjáratot indítanak a bűnözők ellen. Önként vállalt feladatukat már-már siker koronázza, ám ekkor megjelenik Joker (Heath Ledger), aki a bűnözők között is rettegett, ravaszabb és veszélyesebb bárkinél.
