A very fun action roguelike with rhythmic music, asset-based monsters, and a rather amusing gameplay experience. You have to move from room to room in a ship, shooting enemies spawned by the doors in each room. You're given one weapon (pistol, Uzi, shotgun, assault rifle, or sniper rifle) for the entire run, a small supply of grenades that regenerates in each room, and you can roll, jump, and run. The enemies are straight from the asset store, but they're quite fun to shoot and have distinct behavior. Corsairs got version 1.0.2, which is so buggy that by the time I got to the Uzi, I probably restarted the game about 10 times. I also made sure that when you close the game, it remembers which room the player was in during the run so the run isn't interrupted. The basic playthrough is as follows: enter a room with enemies, shoot them down, and complete one of several objectives (capture points or clear waves), then choose a door to proceed to, which will reveal one of the upgrade options. In the final room, behind the shop, a boss awaits. He's a "come on, we'll come alone too" type of boss. I mean, he's alone in the intro, but once he gets tired of battling you alone, he'll quickly summon the same minions. Overall, it's playable, especially since there's a Ru language version. We're looking forward to a time when you don't have to restart the game.
