899435: Enhancement of Patch/Plate Element Edge Release
Similarly to the beam elements. Patch/plate element edges may release their rotational stiffness along an edge, effectively generating a hinged edge connection. This simplifies the modeling of hinged connections. An edge release removes the rotational stiffness about the edge. Edge release attributes are independent of load and freedom cases. Here is an example:

Enveloped load cases are used to identify peak values from results that consist of multiple result cases. In Multiframe, plate results are now included in envelope case Descriptions. Envelope cases store the absolute maximum values across all cases, along with the maximum, minimum, and absolute values for displacements, plate internal forces, and stresses. Each envelope case can contain only one result type. The diagrams for enveloped cases display the contour outlines or renderings of both the positive and negative envelopes
