Preface to the Second Edition
Since the first edition was well received both by the students, teachers as well as the control systems engineers, its was felt to reorganize the book and make it more reader friendly to the students and other users.
The chapter on State-Space Analysis is made as the Sixth Chapter and is placed after the Chapter on Network Synthesis, so that the Continuous-time Systems Analysis is put sequentially from 1st to 6th Chapters followed by the Discrete-time Systems Analysis and Synthesis of Transfer Functions and Transfer Impedence is added in the 5th Chapter (Network Synthesis).
In the last Chapter 10, i.e., Discrete Transform Analysis, Topics on Random processes and correlation functions are deleted.
More number of worked examples are included and whereever necessary exercises and review questions are added: The number of multiple choice questions and short questions is increased.
