Drop Duchy is a legendary geometric puzzle at a new angle. You have to not just clear the ranks, but build a duchy of various fragments, thinking through strategy and fighting opponents.
This is a hybrid of a card game, puzzles and rogue-lite. The gameplay is based on the tactical placement of blocks. Optimize the playing field to collect valuable resources, protect the castle and build a powerful army.
Defeated? No problem! Take advantage of the experience to open up new content!
In each Drop Duchy round, a new unique landscape is available to you. Stip tiles as in a regular block puzzle, but do not forget about strategic thinking. Build them so as to take advantage of the activation conditions of each block and get the maximum number of resources and units.
Choose the right buildings and place them next to dense forests, wide rivers, or green plains to achieve prosperity for the duchy.
Build rows to get bonuses. However, your main goal is to gradually gain as many resources as possible that will help you build up the army and protect the kingdom from enemies.
Choose the path, gather the army, overcome the enemies and regain control of the occupied territories. But be careful: if the castle gets too much damage, you will be defeated.
Having won, choose a route and send the army to storm the enemy fortress.
If your fighters fail to capture the bastion of the opponent, retreat and try a different approach - game mechanics allows it.
Adapt, win, do not stop!
To increase the power of you will help you work out a well-developed card system. Build and improve buildings with more than 110 unique maps with powerful upgrades and modifiers. Open up new opportunities thanks to construction maps and technologies. Each of them gives you access to additional buildings that will speed up the recruitment of fighters and not only. Set up the deck in line with your strategic approach to achieve prosperity in the duchy.
Communicate with merchants and guilds, acquire valuable resources and improve the deck. Build a strategy on the way to the next round.
Drop Duchy offers players a well-developed system of metaprogress and more than 100 unique tests. Increase your status and open up various bonuses: add-to-resources, new cards or improved health.
These tests are intertwined with three playable factions: Duchy, the Republic and the Order. Each of them offers the player his own tasks and awards. By passing the tests, you not only form your own strategy, but also increase the chances of success: after all, each passing helps you to develop and win.
