The Siemens December release NX 2412 is packed with the latest features and updates designed to transform the way you manufacture parts. These latest features include selecting similar edges, using the sketch checker, transfer voids, the flex transition design option, and adding feature groups to reference sets.
Selecting Similar Edges
New in NX 2412, you can now select similar or even identical edges on bodies within your parts in order to complete common operations such as adding blends, with the Select Similar Edges Command!
Sketch checking
New in NX 2412, a Sketch Checking tool available as a toggle in the Sketch Task environment, which allows you to quickly check the integrity of your sketches, making it easier than ever to create robust and fully defined sketch features!
Transfer voids
A brand new tool in NX 2412, Transfer Voids, allows you to easily copy complicated enclosed geometry (voids) from one body to another, so that the geometry can be used in more than one design!
Flex transition
A great Flexible Printed Circuit Design option added to NX 2412 is the new Flex Transition option inside the Bridge Transition tool. This allows you to create accurate forms of flexible cables that are bent and twisted with detail.
Adding Feature Groups to Reference Sets
A great capability now in NX 2412 is the new option to add Feature Groups to Reference Sets within a part. This allows you to easily add many features or bodies at a time, in order to properly display the part at the assembly level.
