WinNc is a file manager that combines the classic dual panel interface of Norton Commander with the modern Windows 11 flat design. It is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11, and it offers shortcuts to all the Windows special folders. You can organize your data by project using the tabbed interface, and create virtual links to files and folders from different locations on your disk. WinNc can perform all the basic file operations, such as copy, move, delete, compress, decompress and create links. It also has advanced features, such as audio conversion, DVD and CD burning, ISO file creation and file synchronization. You can also create self-extracting .exe files from zip files using WinNc.

Windows file manager actions
Our file manager uses logical colors for the file actions so you can see if a file is being copied (Green), being moved (Orange), or being packed (Yellow). It allows you to perform multiple tasks by setting the maximum parallel tasks to more than one task. Otherwise, it will wait to start the new action until the previous step has finished. There is a built-in file viewer supporting all the popular formats. It has a built-in slideshow viewer, an audio player, and a video player for quickly browsing through your media.

Quick Access makes file management easier
When running it will keep track of folders where you have worked in the past. You can quickly access those folders by clicking the Quick Access icon or pressing the spacebar.
Then in the Quick Access box, start to type the location of interest, like ‘windows’ or ‘download’ or ‘project folder’.
It will show a list of matching folders ordered by match rank. Furthermore, you can make frequently used folders favorite by pressing the blue star and adding more tags (search words) to the folder.
