C++Builder Toolchain for Windows Modern Adds C++ 23 Support
The C++Builder compiler for Windows 64 has been updated to Clang 20. The new Clang 20-based compiler supports C++ 23 (and uses C++ 23 by default). This is a significant update to Embarcadero's Modern C++ toolchain introduced in RAD Studio 13.x and a clear commitment to Embarcadero C++Builder. In addition to updating LLVM and Clang 20, the new version offers an improved Address Sanitizer (ASAN) runtime, versioned shared libraries, and improved compatibility with legacy versions of the C++Builder compiler.

In the Windows registry, delete what is marked in red HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Embarcadero\BDS\ 37.0 , namely branch 37.0 Start of RAD Studio installation
1. Extract the contents of the ISO image to an empty directory.
2. Run the RAD Studio ESD installation program with Administrator rights .
3. Agree with the license agreement and click " Next ". On the "Enter license" page, the " Install " do not click button .
4. Now on KeyPatch - click on the button " Generate Serial Number " and " Patch RAD Studio Setup " or in the submenu " Optional: Advanced RAD Studio Activation ".
5. In the " Setup - RAD Studio 13 " window, click " Back ", then " Use Existing License " and click the " Install " button.

6. Select RAD Platforms for installation, install, and complete the installation (exit the installation wizard).
7. Launch the RAD STUDIO 32-bit or 64-bit version with Administrator rights FOR THE FIRST TIME !!! IF INSTALLATION IS CARRIED OUT ON AN OPTIMIZED OPERATING SYSTEM LIKE ATLAS OS BASED ON WINDOWS 10, 11 !!! On such systems, user access to certain areas of virtual memory (VM) may be restricted, thus rendering the virtual patch inoperative.
For normal operation of the RAD Studio environment, an offset patch is required (when the patch is applied directly to the executable file or files), so a virtual patch is not needed.
It should be noted that this patch method changes the composition of the executable file or RAD Studio environment files, and cancels the certificate of authenticity, which can lead to unexpected consequences (Sometimes the antivirus may complain).
Just in case, KeyPatch, when using " Postinstall: Apply RAD Studio Legacy Patch ", will create a backup folder " KX_Backup " in the root folder " ..\bin ", " ..\bin64 " and will put there the original RAD Studio files such as " bds.exe ", " LicenseManager.exe ", etc.
