Description:
Filmex is a program for organizing a home video library that automatically converts scattered collections of video files into a structured catalog with posters, descriptions and ratings. The application scans the data of the folders by the user, determines the names of the films and series, after which it downloads metadata from the database of the movie search or The Movie Database.
Each film in the catalog receives a personal page with the ability to edit. For convenient search and navigation, a group is implemented by genres, actors, years of release and rating. Also available is the function of viewing trailers from YouTube in the built-in player.
Additionally, for remote access to the collection, a mobile application Filmex Client for Android has been developed. It allows you to stream video from the home library to a smartphone or TV over the Internet, turning a computer into a personal streaming server.
