Frank Zappa (Baltimore, 1940. december 21. – Los Angeles, 1993. december 4.) kétszeres Grammy-díjas amerikai zeneszerző, gitáros, producer és filmrendező. Mintegy harminc évet átfogó pályafutása alatt írt rockzenei, jazz-, elektronikus zenei, nagyzenekari és musique concrète munkákat. Életében mintegy 60 nagylemeze jelent meg (halála után is több mint húsz – eddig), a Mothers of Invention együttessel vagy saját neve alatt.
