Navisworks 2025 Update 5 includes the following enhancements:

Navisworks 2025 Update 5 includes the following fixes:
Revit

• Nested families from Revit files are now displayed under the correct parent family when opened in Navisworks (NW-60961).
  
• Shared parameters from Revit are now displayed correctly in Navisworks (NW-60861).
  
• Fixed an issue causing elements in NWC files exported from Revit to be listed under the wrong category in Navisworks (NW-60627).
  

NWC, NWF, and NWD files

• Color overrides are now correctly maintained in NWF files when objects are transformed in the corresponding NWC file (NW-59437).
  
• Fixed an issue where geometry would disappear when combining an NWC with other files and saving to NWD (NW-61050).
  
• When NWC files are exported from MicroStation, the geometry associated with Construction class elements is now displayed correctly (NW-61191).
  

Rendering

• Changing the XYZ coordinates on the Autodesk Rendering dialog > Material Mapping tab now correctly changes the position of the texture (NW-60837).
  
• The Viewpoint tab > Render Style panel > Lighting drop-down list > Full Lights option now works correctly for all system locale settings (NW-61456).
  

DWF files

• Fixed an issue where exporting NWD files to DWFx resulted in missing geometry (NW-61472).
  
• Fixed an issue causing Navisworks to close unexpectedly when loading DWFx files (NW-61550).
  

Clash Detective
- Fixed an issue where the color indicators on the Clash Detective > Results tab weren't displaying correctly (NW-61332).
IFC files
- When exporting linked IFC models from MicroStation to NWC format, custom colors are now supported and the color used in the linked file is respected (NW-61207).
Links
- Hyperlinks are now correctly rendered when attached to instanced geometry (NW-61248).
General

• Fixed an issue where having the Vault Add-in browser pallet open when opening an NWF file from Vault was causing Navisworks to close unexpectedly (NW-54930).
  
• Fixed an issue where editing a custom property value was causing Navisworks to close unexpectedly (NW-61078).
  
• The Resize Floor option now works correctly when working with Factory Design Utilities layouts in Navisworks (NW-59878).
  
• Geometry is no longer incorrectly ghosted or missing contours when using the Options Editor dialog > Interface node > Display page > Autodesk subpage > Screen Space Ambient Occlusion option and the Options Editor dialog > Interface node > Sectioning page > Capping option in combination (NW-60660 and NW-61373).
  
• Fixed an issue causing some PDF files to be shown as a blank screen when loaded into Navisworks (NW-60913).
  
• Pipe colors now appear as expected when using the Options Editor dialog box > Model node > Performance page > Optimize on Load option (NW-61162).
  
• AVEVA properties are now correctly displayed in the Properties window (NW-61339).
  
• Fixed an issue preventing RVM files containing v1.2 primitives from loading (NW-61979).
  
• Dashed lines that are shown when using the Measure Tools now work correctly with different regional settings (NW-61367).
  
• Navisworks now correctly handles loading PDF files that are password secured (NW-59975).
