Deprecations in 2024

• As planned, the Asset Manager tool is removed from the software beginning with the 2024 release. This functionality is replaced by the Attach Item tool, incorporating Item Types on Feature Definitions, and the Export to SHP tool.
  
• As planned, the Place Label tool was reset to match the functionality of the tool in MicroStation beginning with the 2024 release. This functionality is replaced by (1) the MicroStation Place Label tool which supports placing labels from cells and (2) the Civil Labeler which supports labels from Text Favorites. The MicroStation Place Label tool can be activated in pre 2024 software releases with the key in placelabel dialog.
  

OpenRail Overhead Line Designerintroduces a new, comprehensive modeling environment for rail overhead line and track design. Developed jointly by Bentley Systems and Siemens Mobility, it combines OpenRail Designer technology with Sicat Master. The application brings 3D to the world of overhead line catenary systems, advancing workflows beyond traditional plan production into the development of digital twins with asset information for the entire lifecycle. Implementation of digital twin technology will significantly decrease production time of construction deliverables, including plan layouts, reports and detailed structural erection diagrams.
