Peculiarities
I Hate This Place is an isometric survival horror game with crafting, set in a cursed land filled with reality-bending nightmares and terrifying creatures thriving in the darkness. You'll have to scavenge, build, sneak, and fight if you want to escape alive.
Search every corner of the Rutherford Ranch to stay alive. From haunted forests and an abandoned town to infested bunkers, explore a world teeming with dangers, collecting vital resources, crafting essential equipment, upgrading your camp, and rebuilding outposts to provide a place to hide.
The dynamic cycle of day and night changes the world. Use daylight wisely to explore, scavenge for supplies, craft essential items, and prepare for what awaits in the night. When night falls, true nightmares come out to play with you. More enemies appear-stronger and more aggressive. The landscape becomes more difficult to navigate. Sometimes it seems the best idea is to find shelter and wait until morning.
Stealth and combat go hand in hand, as many of the twisted creatures on Rutherford Ranch hunt and stalk you by sound alone. Blunt force is almost guaranteed death. Use sound to your advantage, luring creatures out of your way or cunningly leading them into deadly traps.
Inspired by the award-nominated comic book series created by Kyle Starks and Artem Topilin, I Hate This Place comes alive with vibrant colors, a bold retro comic book style, and a generous dose of '80s flair. It offers a unique blend of horror and dark humor, just the right amount for unsettling dread and stylized charm.

Launching the game
1. Download to any location on your drive (the main thing is that the path to the game folder does not contain Cyrillic characters)
2. Launch the game from the I Hate This Place.exe file in the game's main directory

Why might the game not launch?

• Remove Cyrillic characters from the path to the game folder,
  
• Windows user name must not contain Cyrillic characters,
  
• Remove the "read only" attribute from the game folder,
  
• Remove the game folder from the torrent client before launching the game,
  
• Turn off your antivirus, as it may block the launch of executable and/or additional files.
  
• As a last resort, redownload the game folder completely again.
