Audiority VertiVerb VRS23 is an audio effects plugin that recreates the distinctive character of the Dynacord® VRS 23, a classic early-1980s hardware unit known for its unusual blend of analog echo and reverberation. Originally built around a network of 10 BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) chips, the hardware produced a spacious and musical ambience that differed significantly from conventional reverbs of its era.
This plugin accurately captures the tonal behavior and response of the original unit, including its characteristic bandwidth limitations and analog-style modulation. The result is a unique combination of delay and reverb textures that can add vintage depth, movement, and atmosphere to vocals, guitars, synthesizers, drums, and other instruments.

In addition to reproducing the original design, Audiority has expanded the functionality with modern enhancements. Dedicated feedback and clock controls allow detailed adjustment of regeneration and BBD timing, while features such as tempo synchronization, ducking, and flexible gain staging provide greater control within contemporary music production workflows.
