Autodesk has releasedAutoCAD Electrical 2024.0.1 Toolset. Part of the Autodesk Digital Prototyping solution, AutoCAD Electrical is AutoCAD software for control designers, purpose-built to create and modify electrical control systems.
AutoCAD Electrical Update - Date: August 15, 2023
The following defects have been fixed:
Catalog Lookup
- No more delays when changing catalog assignment for components or while using the Catalog Browser to insert components.
Spreadsheet Import/Export
- Reports now show the tags that were modified in the spreadsheet and imported back to the project.
Symbol Builder
- AutoCAD Electrical now retrieves family names from the SQL database within the Symbol Builder.
Cross-Reference

• When graphical cross-referencing format is defined in a project, removing one child component changes only the display of the removed xref values on parent component to SPARE.
  
• The SHEET attribute in source and destination arrows also updates the XREF value.
  

Copy Project
- Destination folder in the Copy Project dialog box now retains the user set location.
Reports

• Splitting a PLC with accessories no longer causes duplicate counts in the BOM report.
  
• Symbol list report now displays the descriptions as written in the .dat file. No more automatic conversion to uppercase.
  

Wire Type Update
- The wire color and size are now copied to the other drawings when the transferred wire layer has the same wire color name as another layer in the second drawing.
