- Design Intent
With the new Finish element, presentation data and properties can be included in the description of industrial production steps to document actual processes. For example, specify coating materials, heat treatments, surface textures, and paints that can be applied on top of each other and may or may not be suppressed by model states.
- Professional-grade features
Accelerated creation of hole and punch patterns, custom or back-cut elbows (angle not limited to 45 or 90 degrees) in tube and pipe environments, support for custom image-based lighting (IBL) environments to emulate realistic renderings.
- Complies with 2D and 3D drawing rules
Annotate weld symbols in 3D parts and assemblies (without converting to weldment), apply sheet or view-based revision clouds in drawings, use the new ISO 13715 edge symbol annotation.
- Customer Requested Enhancements
Rotate cut planes, obtain minimum bounding box orientation for a part (using the Derived Component command) or for an assembly (using the Derived Component or Simplify command), iLogic, and support for "For Only" mode Reading" via Vault Professional.
