This simple little app was designed in order to allow you to scan and assess the health of your discs and corresponding partitions by running scans for identifying and highlighting bad data sectors.

There isn't anything special about the design of Witted Disk Scanner, and its simple and minimalist demeanor could recommend it to those who wish to avoid overly complicated solutions and aren't interested in taking extra steps.

Using it, you will be able to easily select the preferred disc, run a scan, and preview the resulting map that depicts the intact, as well as the bad sectors. And that's about it when it comes to the functionality of the app, nothing special really.

As I stated in the previous paragraph, the application's plain design manages to offer only the essentials in terms of functionality, allowing you to run scans to check the discs for bad sectors.

Although that's all fine, what about with the results of these scans? It would be useful to have options for exporting them, in the event that you might wish to track the status of your HDDs across time. Maybe further iterations of the app will have such capabilities.

Featuring a plain design, simple operation, and an even simpler overall demeanor, this app can offer some insight into the status of your discs and their partitions. But bear in mind that it doesn't feature additional tools, but just the bare essentials.
