Description: MDaemon Mail Server is a standards-based SMTP/POP3/IMAP mail server for Windows that offers a full set of mail server features. MDaemon is designed to manage mail for any number of individual users and comes with a powerful set of integrated tools for managing mail accounts and message formats. MDaemon offers a scalable SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4 mail server with LDAP and Active Directory support, an integrated browser-based mail client, content filtering, spam filters, comprehensive security features, and much more.
In addition to its core functions of handling SMTP, POP3, and IMAP4 messages, MDaemon server also provides a host of other important tasks, some of which are listed below.
Reliable antivirus scanning and threat protection.
A wide range of functions for working with mailing lists and supports the creation of an unlimited number of such lists, which can include both local and external users.
Webmail - access to email via a browser.
Spam Filter and DNS Blocklist features will help you put a stop to most spam email messages that spammers try to route through or to your domain.
Support for LDAP protocol.
Address aliases (pseudonyms).
The Domain Gateways feature allows you to create separate domains for organizational departments or workgroups that can be local to your network or located on the Internet in completely different locations.
Integrated remote administration tools via a web interface.
Additional information : Functionality has been tested to the best of my ability, but is confirmed. In other words, no issues with functionality were found. Some glitches and quirks that do not affect overall functionality are described in a text file included in the distribution, along with a description of the installation and troubleshooting procedure.
