Plenty of the alternatives send your photographs to a server to be handled. HSX InfiniteGen Studio does not. Processing runs on your CPU or GPU, and the photographs you open stay where you put them. The application keeps working with the network switched off.

That is not a setting you enable, it is how HSX InfiniteGen Studio is built, which is why there is no account to create and no subscription to lapse. It does ask for a graphics card with at least 4 GB of dedicated memory, because the work it would otherwise send to a server happens on that card instead.
