Description: Main innovations Corona 14:
3D Gaussian Splats: a method that allows you to reconstruct real objects and scenes from photos or videos with a high degree of detail. This opens up new opportunities for creating highly realistic scenes and modeling of natural phenomena.
Night Sky System: a night sky generator with the moon, stars and the milky way. Users can customize the location of celestial bodies manually or choose a real location, date and time to fully match reality.
AI Tools: integration with Chaos Cosmos and Chaos Cloud services that provide artificial intelligence-based tools. Among them is AI Material Generator, which creates physical materials and textures (albedo, normal-mapping, roughness) based on ordinary photos, and AI Upscaler, which allows you to scale images by 2 or 4 times using neural network technologies.
Procedural Fabric Material: a new node for building fabrics and fibers without the need to use texture maps. It automatically generates fibers, weaving and surface displacement, which greatly simplifies the creation of textile products.
Workflow Improvements: improved performance with volumes, increased the responsiveness of the interface, new visualization tools have appeared in the Viewport Frame Buffer (VFB) and Image Editor. Also added the ability to send cameras from the scene to the Vantage - an application for interactive inspection of large production scenes.
