The Team Maplesoft is pleased to announce the availability ofMapleSim 2023.2. This update includes updates to MapleSim and some of its add-ons, as well as to MapleSim Insight.


What's new in this update
MapleSim 2023.2
MapleSim 2023.2 provides enhancements to assist engineers when creating and using models.

• Speed boost when running simulations. MapleSim now processes constraint projections more efficiently, so some classes of MapleSim fixed-step models run up to 40% faster. This also applies to models exported to FMI and Simulink.
  
• New Hydraulics components for pressure-dependent flow. Five additional table-based components (Cartridge, Counterbalance, Pressure Reducing 3-Way, Shuttle, and Sequence Valves with Pressure-Dependent Flow) allow users to shape the pressure-flow relationship curve by using real data points when defining the valve.
  
• Usability updates: Various features make MapleSim easier to use, including:
  

. The Linearization App has been refreshed, improving run time and general capabilities.
. You can now scroll sideways in large model diagrams by pressing Shift while scrolling the mouse wheel.
Additional Improvements to Add-on Products

• The MapleSim CAD Toolbox adds support for recent software releases from NX, Creo, Inventor, and other CAD tools.
  
• The MapleSim Web Handling Library has additional settings for models that use variable eccentricity in rollers and wind/unwind drums, and offers new parameters to support stepwise winding.
  

MapleSim Insight 2023.2
The 2023.2 release of MapleSim Insight provides a maintenance update to align with the latest updates in MapleSim, and offers a speed boost when running fixed-step FMI models created in MapleSim 2023.2 or later.
